while different, i agree the core elements have potential, but as it stands now, there is no balance, and there is also no reward for wining (5CR wooo hoooo!!!!)
one of the key components of the halo series for me anyways, was getting into the game, and actually caring about the results, which never happens for me in social or any other game out there.
i think bungie is trying to do far too many things at once, and their little flaws everywhere, they have bitten of more than they can chew basically.
but there are a few major flaws i can point out right away.
1) grenades, over powered by a factor of 2, especially if they intend to keep this slow movement and no jump around.
2) what the -blam!- is with the sword???? there is no way a melee from anything other than a sword should stop it from being a 1 hit kill, im tired of trading kills.....
3) please limit the number of certain AAs per team, i should not have to play a game of crazy king against a full team of camo warriors... its simply not enjoyable when kids use pathetic little strategies to win.
4) the veto system, i have noticed that in a 4 to 4 vote tie, the option on the top of the list is always picked, this in essence gives one team of terrible players the opportunity to keep default slayer because thats always on top, in the arena.
5) objective respawn times, why isnt there any? for crazy king especially, basically, you kill all 4 players, the hill moves across the map to where they are spawning, and they egt the advantadge/lead for it.
6) the spawn system, i have noticed no improvement over the halo 3 system, and spawning into an assassination is not uncommon.
other than all of that, theres bugs and glitches but none of them really impact the gameplay or fun factor for me.
