Summary:
Invasion (Standard) on Boneyard. After 2 minutes or so of gameplay, a player betrays me purposefully. I boot him. This results in a black screen. The game resumes for a second or two. Black screen again.
At this point, my fire team are repeatedly spawned in as dead purple Spartans. This ended only after the "Game Over" announcement, at which we finally spawned in properly.

Not only did this glitch result in a -20 K/D, but it stopped us from playing the game. It did however reveal new Armour Permutations, such as:

Also, chest pieces and shoulder armour were revealed, but there was way too many to document (although I got the majority).

This is the biggest issue I've found, and seriously affects gameplay. Hopefully you guys at Bungie can sort it.

This isn't exactly new, although this is the first thread I have seen with that many helmets.

Seeing as your appearance is universal throughout Campaign and Multiplayer, I wonder how they will work Mark VI in to fit canon.

It is my friend. The links are at the top of the page. A lot of slow motion and pausing is required to see all the helmets. They appear quite quickly at times.

Awesome find!

I thought the same. At first I was annoyed that I wasn't respawning, but then I noticed that the characters I were watching spawn in were 1)Purple 2) Dying upon spawning in and 3) wearing new armour.

When I watched it after the game, everything was confirmed. New armour was being shown off. Quite gutted that the purple Spartans' deaths counted as myself dying. Not happy with that -20 k/d. It's my worst ever.

Hey

This is quite interesting. I think the ODST helmet looks just the same as it did in previous games, but the chest piece it's wearing looks pretty cool, and I'll most likely be wearing that one if it is actually put into the final game. This is a crazy glitch, and I'm going to have to watch the full video.

Realy? I haven't seen this mentioned or shown before. Then again this forum is currently full of 'x' weapon is overpowered threads. Either way, it's a cool, yet significant bug/glitch.

Perhaps it will be noted to be a 'prototype version', or one of those 'privatised variants'. It may be the bonus for playing Halo 2 on the last day of X1 LIVE. It was the first Halo game to feature that armour, so perhaps that's the award to players. If it's just an award, it doesn't necassarily have to fit into cannon.
