Post your general thoughts and impressions regarding the Armory, Credits, Commendations, and Grade system in the Halo: Reach Beta.

Rants go elsewhere. Please be constructive. Or else.

KNOWN ISSUES:

-Selection of Armor available is limited
-Credits may be deducted without provocation
-Credits are awarded via Commendation with little explanation
-Commendations are not explained in detail
-Service Record is not available
-Credits awarded for winning certain gametypes is meager

Credits is a perfect. The distribution of them need to be up'd a little. I would also like to see more armory that would 'wow' me. Maybe put credits in the Legendary package?

As well, I would want to see a greater variety of emblems, armory, and grades in the Final Version.

Need more customization. Halo 3 already allowed Head, Chest and Shoulders... Why can't we have Knee, Hand, Forearm etc...

Lack of emblems. ODST had more I believe. Maybe an emblem creator...

How about some patterns instead of basic colors on armor. Camo, polka dot, tiger, leopard etc...

I hope there is alot more armor in the final product. Be sure to show some respect for past variants and the classics!

Victory bonus isn't very much, 100-150 would be better.

No.

Credits are absolutely pointless. Unless you significantly increase the levels of customization, such as buying new colours, or a section of a colour palette, it will not be true customization.

Give us tools to buy to design our own armor pieces, allow us to personalize helmets such as in Forza you can customize your car with paint jobs and self made logos.

The customization in this game is bad, therefore credits are - pointless.

Victory bonus should be higher

Commendations should be more obvious in-game. As far as I can tell the progress for commendations is only available on bungie.net stats.
Because of this, people are confused in game when they recieve a commendation.

In FFA, Top 3 should count as a "win" on your games won list.

No I don't have any Beta codes. Sorry :(

Does this include Emblems?

I think there should be lots more emblems. There shuld also be a more diverse color palette. I'd also like to put patterns on the spartan, such as camouflage and lightning, etc.

Why I believe Spikers will return in Reach
BNGLEUS

On our Bungie.net service record, it shows us a progress bar towards our next level of commendation, but it doesn't tell us numerically how many more headshots we need to "level up".

Also, when you are playing with another player on your Xbox, it doesn't show the entire "Credits Acquired" montage of information. At the very least, it should show the total credits each player earned from that game instead of skipping it entirely.

The victory point bonus is very low. What determines a victory bonus of 5CR compared to 7CR?
I would prefer the victory bonus to be based of how much you won by. If you won by 3 flags to 0 you get a 3x bonus. If you won by 30kills in TeamSlayer that's 30Victory credits.

THIS SUMMER...

Some of those armor pieces seem ridiculously expensive. Other than that, all the known issues you mentioned are the only things irking me. Especially the commendations. Really.

I coined the term: Armor "Pop n' Locking"

Better clarification on commendations would be nice. It wasn't until I checked on my stats that i saw there were different grades and point bonuses for them, but other than that they aren't tracked well. It would be nice to know how many points each medal is worth, and how much it contributes to it's corresponding commendation grade.

I'd like to be able to see an in-game list of possible promotions. Maybe showing where I am and when I achieved this and where I can go, Corporal to Sergeant to Warrant Officer etc and again I stress in-game.

More animations from the Spartan once a promotion is received. More of that head nodding or AR posing.

Most of the issues that i can think of have been covered but i wasnt sure if limited armor selection covered leg armor...i think it would be great to see some variants of leg armor put in

Armor looks nice. Credits are a great idea. I am loving the armor abilities and the plasma pistol is finally the way it should be.... SERIOUSLY GOOD JOB ON THE PLASMA PISTOL!!! =) I <3 with a passion.

armor ability's for bumper jumper controls should be swichted with the Zoom button to the X button to make it able to use jetpack! i qeuss

I had an issue the other day, the first day was out publicly i was playing it atmy friends house, and i got to 198 credits.

Then i couldnt play anymore so i went home later that day.
A few days later im playing it at home for the first time, and it says my account had 198 credits still, but whn i finished a game, the number reset and went back up from 0

Im not sure what the issue with that is but it was really strange.
