the NBA Playoffs are here It's all right San Antonio we got it next year (To all the haters RING CHECK KID)
Lets go Los Angeles
Known issue, the system is flawed and promotes rushing and bad play. I cannot begin to comprehend why if I go plus 6 the guy who went negative 4 gets a better rating than me. Winning needs to mean more. If winning doesn't have a bigger effect on rating what's motivating people from just stat whoring and not caring about winning. If it stays like this Arena will be about who can Play selfishly the most, and in halo a game that is heavily team oriented that is just wrong.
Why are assists worth 3 deaths? If i want to get a high arena rank i should just run around beating people down and not caring whether I die or not because I'll either get the kill or pick up the assist and that's worth 3 deaths.
My suggestion is to just go back to a win/loss system because individual ratings are bad for halo plus this system does not tell you who is the most skilled at all
The worst part of it in my opinion is now that the fail ranking system even fails at what it was set out to do. "Being onyx will equate to being roger clemens" LOL Yea right. It's so easy to do that so many people have it. That doesnt make sense.
Ok so we all know that the arena system is flawed, but how flawed is it exactly. I decided to find out. I went into a game of arena with the mindset that I wasn't going to get a kill, and see how high the system would rank me. The only reason I even got four kills was because the game started getting close and I didnt want to lose the game because I know that winning should matter. Anyways lets get to the game at hand it was this one. I had four kills yet I was 8 points away from the leader. Does that make any sense, not to me it doesnt.
